Hey all, i live in Southport (North West), i currently don't own a Land Rover, i have a Ford Capri

I have always loved 4x4's, especially Land Rovers, i will be lookin at gettin an old Range Rover in the new year so thought i would join up so i could have a read and get some info.

Basically i am lookin for a diesel Rangey cheap as possible, any condition as long as it runs and drives, MOT and tax are not important, bodywork isnt too important and neither is interior, i will be making it into a hard core offroader so it will be gettin stripped out and its gonna pick up dings and scrapes anyway.

get a v8.

or transplant a better engine ie a 350 small block.

well seeing as i have the capper for a quick car i dont care about speed, and i couldnt aford to insure a v8, otherwise i would have fitted one in the capper

at the end of the day its a 2nd car that i dont need to be quick, just want a toy

still wont be able to aford a v8, i am only 21, i just want an oil burner for now, i can always fit a bigger disel engine at a later date! the standard engine will do me fine to just have a bit of a play for the time being
