That's right, and let's be honest here - we crash our landies a lot less often than most people, and we are usually not going as fast as them.

Well i rekon if the disco had a spare wheel on the back, and a radio in it, then the extra weight would have alowed the landy to plough straight through the espace!!!!
And it looked like the landy was going much faster!!!

You wouldn't surprise me.

I'm sure they do a lot of these to deliberatley make 4x4's look bad in the public eye.

If you listened to the commentry you'll notice how they made a big speech about the Renaults strengthening beams transferring the impact along the car. They took deliberate advantage of that against the weaker parts of the LR.

As you might expect they didn't make it a fair challenge or they would have given the LR chassis a chance to prove its worth by hitting them chin to chin.
