Hi, newbie here! I'm normally found on Difflock, but as I'm about to join the Land Rover community again, thought register here and say hello.
After many years of Lannie ownership, I went out and bought a 'yota surf from the auctions, that was 18 months ago and I must admit to having no regrets. However, it's just not the same, so within the next couple of days I may be buying an unrestored (but in fabulous condition), 1955 Lannie. This is where my problems lie, I began with a SIII LWB, then a Lightwieght, followed by a '74 Rangie which ended up a 90 hybrid (see LRM Oct 00 & Nov 01), but never anything as old as a Series 1, so be prepared for some questions!
