Hi guy engine drama again

Swapped out my engine as it was chugging white smoke from the oil cap and was told it was probably caused from a issue in the head

I’ve just finished the swap and tried to start the engine it cranks but will not fire up a couple of times it’s spluttered as if it wanted to start but hasn’t actually managed it

The new engine came from a auto truck that was seen running nice
I’ve had the car go through it’s bleed cycle But there still is no start

Has anyone got any idea as this very annoyed td5 owner is now at his witts ends

Hi mate I'm sure td5 guys will be along soon what injectors did you use they need to be coded to cylinder use your original's in the same cylinder they come from but not sure it would stop the motor completely

Is there more than 1/4 tank of diesel?

Can you hear the fuel pump on ignition and when you're doing the bleed cycle? Should hear it buzzing but if its really loud or nothing at all I'd suspect it

Is the fuel filter housing in good nick, not porous? Not 2 o rings on the filter? one can stay in the housing when you swap filter

Is the battery strong and starter in good nick?

Is replacement engine known to be good? Good compression?

Any fault codes?

Should run without being coded mate, just goes to a default setting i think
