engine transplant advice needed or do i sell it.?

advice needed my v8 series2a is sat on drive with an annoying water leak from the rubber pipe from rad to engine,which is 2 different sized pipes spliced together.it has a 3 speed auto box fitted.now my missus needs something to learn in but the v8 is too powerful ,do i sell truck as is or is it possible to get a 2.25/2.5 petrol fitted.i would say diesel but think its less work involved for a petrol.the reason im tempted on engine change and giving landy to her is i havent got time to drive the thing and she needs a learner car and with a nudge bar it would be ideal for pushing free roaming sheep out the way and if she scrapes a wing just bolt another one on.plus its tax exempt so would be cheap to run/insure as we already have a main car for family life.

fook it wint matter if she wur.. wumun dint stick around long . they either give me an ultimatum which results in them fooking orf or they just fook orf when they get fed up wiff me cars and landies

nah need wife to cook and look after the 5 boys.its not a rr its a 1962,88" series 2a.and it wont be cheep as im trying to get a ticket on it so i can get as much as poss for it.
