Help! I have a Discovery TD5 1999 Auto that has just cost me over £2000 to get the head replaced and a new fuel pump in the tank that previously sounded like a circular saw.
Now, all the work is done the engine takes ages to fire up! I turn it over and over and it does not fire for ages. This is the case if it is warmed up or first thing in the morning. It did run for the first 100 miles with no problem at all firing all the time. It has also been know to cut out when stopping at lights and so on. It then takes ages to fire up again. Please help with any suggestion.
