Currently have a discovery 300tdi it's bobtail Ed, with full cage internal and external, has challenge front end etc etc. It's running a 300tdi lump but looking to swap it for a 3.9 v8. Has anyone done an engine swap 300 for a v8 before in a discovery? If so how hard is it and what's exactly involved in it? I have a 3.9 v8 which is the complete engine with all the ecu etc, what else would I need to do the swap over? Any links to pages that have done it before etc would be great thanks in advance for any help
