:mad::mad::mad::mad: Garage are taking the P##s big time, short of a new Chassis I don't think there is anything that can go £2k wrong on an older Fender:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Like has been said stick some piccys up, could be somert and nowt that someone will SHOW you how to do yourself;);)
There's quite a few wimmins around here who are doing work on their Fenders and some of them started off knowing nowt:), having said that there's PLENTY of blokes (Myself included:eek:) started off knowing nowt about Landys:cool::cool::cool:
Can you bake cakes??, thats ALWAYS a good bargaining tool;);););););)

Bargaining tools are my speciality, don't you know. ;)

My cakes get put to good use too. I baked one for a friend once and it lasted him ages I'm proud to say. Last time I went round he was using it as a paper weight. :confused:
 
I have been known to work on my Landy here and there. I wiped the windscreen down last week, so I'm learning fast.

Photographs I am very good at, so I will take some snaps and post them here and see what all you brainy blokes think then.
 
There is a good garage thread in the freelander section. Have a read through that you might find a better garage locally that others have used. As others have said for £2k they are having a laugh. Engine removal in a landy is very straight forward for a garage or someone at home having a go them selves providing they have the right tools
