Hi ive read that you should use different engine oil for winter and summer why, isnt there an oil that you can use for both winter/summer. At the moment i use a 5w/30 for my 4.6 rangie on lpg should i be using both ? :confused:

:eek: Load of bollix. Those days have gone with the progress in oil development and manufacture. 10-40 is fine for all season use in the U.K. or if the engine is a bit "Tired" and long i the tooth 20-50. No longer is it SAE 40 in the Summer and SAE 30 in the Winter.

We will be having Summer and Winter tyres next !!!

5W30 is fine if you live in Alaska. But a bit thin for here. 10W40 for this country is fine all year round.
