Engine oil and filter change.
Here's how Ah did it
first ah went for a wee drive to warm the oil up, then ah removed the filler cap.
Next ah got below to undo the sump drain plug (remembering the oil could be hot! )....
and let it drain completely.....
before sticking the plug back on with new copper washer as needed and torquing it up....
then ah removed the oil filter with one of those filter removal tools....
Next Ah smeared some fresh oil on the rubber seal of the new filter...
gave the housing a guid wipe clean and spun the new filter on (hand tight only)....
(some folk reckon on half filling the filter first with fresh oil, but ah prefer not to )
Then it's just a case of filling up the engine with the quantity of correct oil...
start the engine an let it idle for a bit, recheck the oil level and top up if needed.
That's about it... job done
