Engine malfunction indicator

Hi all

Have a freelandy 02 1.8 petrol done about 82k, anyways driving home this evening, engine malfunction indicator starts flashing and when i press on the accelerator, accelaration feels a little juddery and engine seems like it wont get past 20mph,

1 question or 2 rather, any ideas ?, is it going to be expensive lol

You're gonna need it on a computer or at least a diagnosic system of some sort to see what the fault codes are causing the light to come on.

Where abouts are you? I'm sure there will be someone near you who can help with that? If you're near Hull shout and I'll plug mine in to it for you!!!

Probably best to find yourself a good independent with a puter.
