Engine bay??

hi all has anyone got a pic of there V8 engine bay thats been converted as im in the prosess of putting a 3.5 EFI in my 90 and looking were to put things.
also from what pics i have seen my alternator seems to be on the right hand side as ou look at the engine but most of the pics ive seen there on the left. is there any reason for this??
