'Ell, as the title of this post suggests, o. I'm a terminal Landroveritis sufferer who's had a '69 six cylinder safari 109", an '86 Ninety CSW with V8, a '66 88" hardtop that became a soft top and a '95 Discovery 300 Tdi XS auto with a JJF intercooler. Those last two I still have, having sold the Ninety a couple of months ago (boo hoo). So hello all!

...And here I am, six years later, again. First, apologies to Johnny Disco, who asked me how my EDC to mechanical injector pump conversion went on my 300 Tdi Disco. It went well - starting improved beyond recognition and it ran much more smoothly and pulled harder than it ever did when electronically controlled. A huge success. I add this in case anyone else is contemplating the same job. Along with the EGR blanking plate and non-cat front pipe my Disco became a much more useable beast. Sadly, a few years ago, child seating requirements dictated that I had to switch to seven forward-facing seats and Disco IIs were beyond my wallet, so I sold my beloved Tdi and bought a Voyager. Then a 110 CSW did family transportation duties for a while, followed by a Fiat Ulysse, which has been surprisingly good, but lacks a decent breakover angle... I'm now starting to look for a seven seat Disco II - XS or ES auto so I don't suffer too much culture shock switching from the all-bells-and-whistles Fiat. Still got the 1966 Series IIa.
