Hi All, I live in Cornwall, drive a company car on weekdays and a VW T4 2.5tdi Caravelle at weekends which I've enjoyed for the last 8 years..... Its been really reliable too!. Anyway we bought a caravan last year and I fancy changing to a 4x4 to tow with instead at weekends, know Santa Fe's etc are rated but I do fancy a Landy and FL1 TD4, I think best fit. Budget wise upto / about £2,500 - £3,000 max: Hopefully should get me something decent / cared for! History being more important than miles. Have read lots on here but comments / thoughts most welcomed.
Cheers Wayne

Hello and welcome.

Great choice for your first Land Rover.

3 door with removable hard top is a nice thing but if you got sprogs then a 5 door jobber without sunnywooofs is best.

Get some hard core mud terrain tyres on it and away you goes.

Thanks for the welcome guys, not too bothered by which spec I get but SE or HSE would be nice if can find a good one in price range, (with all working windows) and if its got a sunroof, thats fine: .......but I will never open it,
Daughter grown up and left home now so just me, my lovely lady and the dog; must confess do like the 3 door removable hard top. any idea if they're lighter / have a similar towing capacity to the 5 door?
thanks Wayne
