electronic ignition problem

hi all,

i have recentlyconverted my 2.5 defender 90 4 cyl petrol to work on electronic ignition. mostof the time it works perfectlyhowever sometimes when starting from cold it acts as if it hasfuel starvation. i put myfoot down on the accelerator slightly and it judders at whatever speed. it runs a tinybit better when i havemy foot right to he floor. this happened this morning even it warmed up. i stopped, turned it off then on again and it worked fine.

does anyone know what might be wrong?

Check your earths first, and then clean the rotor and sensors, as they tend to collect dry, powdery **** that stops them from working properly.
