Now then, I’m having problems with my rev gauge bouncing up and down with only idle revs on, also my rev gauge jumps with the horn on or lights flashed. my temp gauge goes up with my headlights on as well.

noticed tonight that I have a slight spark on my throttle linkage when the engine is on ‍♂️

Sorry dont know.

At a guess around the bellhousing or starter to chassis. Not sure if they only have 1 from the transfer box to chassis.

Really its just a matter of having a good look around. when you do find and clean the ends give the cable a good bending it could be knackered inside the cover where you cant see it.

If that dont get it then you will just have to check as many as you can find. As @miktdish most funny happens on a few unrelated functions is usually an earth issue enjoy the hunt:).

The only thing that looks like an earth is this but it doesn’t look very substantial , I’ve cleaned the transfer box earths

That’s not factory (the blue 1) where is the other end?

Just try a jump lead from engine to a good earth, see what you get.

May I jump in? My(or one of my problems,) might be related. First, battery goes dead if I don't disconnect it AND temperature gauge goes zooming into Armageddon Red after only a few minutes of running engine; engine isn't warm. Checked radiator level and thermostat. Water pump was replaced 6 months ago(by garage now retired and closed.) I changed temperature sensor and that didn't help. Was thinking fuses when I googled it and that's how I found you all...Must drive her down into the barn(more lighting,) and start looking for the place where battery cable is bolted on to chassis???

Earths and old wiring are always an issue. As for yours you may do better having a good look clean your earths and then if you still have problems start a new Fred in the relevant section.
They all have different issues and not sure the age of yours if it has a voltage stabiliser for the dash gauges, or even if it has anything to do with the temp gauge.
