Hi guys, I have been following this forum for a while, finally got to register :)

I have a FL1 99 1.8P 3 Doors LH and I need anyone who could help me with some problems that I cant repair (also where I live, it seems no one knows that much about this car):

1. My side mirror heaters dont power off even when ignition off and car is locked. Left heater drains 0.56A and right one 0.08A. Once they drained my battery to death in 2 days when I was away from hometown. Back then I found out the Fuse1 was draining power and I concluded rear screen washer was the problem, but I found out that fuse also for mirror heaters today I checked and they were draining. So deactivated those heaters by unplugging. Drain is gone, rear screen washers are back alive with the fuse back in, but heaters are deactivated now. What might be the cause that those are not deactivating ever? Is it a relay misbehave or CCU problem?

2. (solved) When it rains a lot, my rear screen wipers activates itself when I put the gear on Reverse. To be more precise it activates when reverse light is on (because sometimes my reverse lights doesnt work even if I was actually going reverse). Where should I start checking for such electrical short?

Other than that, I love my "donkey" it is running very smooth and gets me wherever I want. I am actually doing some arduino and low budget facelift projects with it. Already achieved making my central lock works perfrect with my Android app via Bluetooth. If anyone is interested I would like to try to help about that too. Actually, offtopic but I have a few questions to ask about switches and buttons at the panel :boink: if anyone know about them.

Sorry for my english. I hope I could explain my problems. Here is an old picture of my donkey:

If your front wipers are on, even on intermittent settings, when you select reverse your rear wiper will start automatically and stop when you take the car out of reverse, but I guess this would only happen occasionally for you because it would need the reversing lights to work to tell the ECU that you're in reverse.

Oh, so it is a feature! I will try to do that in an hour then, there is so much weird features of this car that I dont even know. Thanks a lot man
