hi all,
Ok so I hadn’t a problem where my brake lights were stuck on.
I have done some fault finding and -
They don’t go out when I disconnect brake switch
Have checked all the earths I can find cleaned and re bolted
There is a current to the switch when car is off
All fuses good
Lights are led I have removed the relay ( correct for led) and the brake lights stay on
I have figured out to a point that it’s not the side lights - I have disconnected the middle wire ( green and purple I think) from the rear lights and the brake lights go out and they function as stop lights normally!
So I can conclude that the green and purple wire has a constant current to it - this is making the brake lights stay on!
So now how do I fix it?
Guy
