my father inlaws discovery 1996 v8 lpg, has got electrical gremlins big time, first of all the lpg switch went dead, no power, i ordered an ammobiliser by-pass lead, fitted it and the switch powered up for half a day, then went dead again, found out that the cheap fuse holder for the lpg was at fault, plugged immobiliser in and the switch went dead again, so 2 faults on that system, took immobilser to bits, and curcuit board was burnt on a joint, so by-pass lead is fitted now, the alarm goes off all the time, so unplugged siren, if i put the hazzards on the wipers go constant until hazzards turned off, at the 14 cux ecu ive been measuring the voltages from my auto data book, the throttle postion sensor, reads 3.6v pedal not pressed, and 0.4 full throttle, the book says this should be 0.7 ish to 4.5 ish full throttle, so its like its working backwards, 1 wire gives a 5v feed, but if i plug the maf sensor plug in it drops to 1.5 volts, and there is no power out of the ecu for the injectors, both banks give a reading of 0.6v, ive checked all earths i can find and all seems ok, all fuses ok, plus the obd plug does not connect to the ecu, any ideas thanks phil

Been looking at car today, if I turn the hazzards on ignition off, the wipers go constantly, the fuel pump runs and all the dash lights come on, just like the ignition has been turned on, I've stripped interior fuse box to see if it had any water damage but it's like New in side, car still does not start, there is no power for the injectors, pin 11 and 13 at ecu, the engine control relay is not operating, pin 12 I think controls it but does not work according to my book, it gives constant 12 v, ignition on or off, book says 12v ignition off,and nothing with it on, if I bridge the relay I get 12 v for injectors ignition on, but when cranking the voltage stays constantly at battery voltage, beginning to think ecu is faulty
