Good morning all, I thought it was too good to be true, my Range Rover had been working pretty well for some little time, until this morning that is.
I jump in the car start her up, she starts up fine, but nothing is working on the dashboard, absolutely nothing, no warning lights, no gauges, tacho, nor speedo. The engine sounds fine all levels are correct so I start my commute as normal, 5 minutes down the road the speedo and tacho start working but the display is saying electrical fault and fuel gauge and temperature gauge are not working, I carry on regardless. 25 minutes into my journey the fuel gauge and temperature gauge start working again and are indicating normal.
I'm sure someone else must have experienced this . Please advise me as to what the problem might be and how to fix it.

check for anything else not working, lights front and rear, indicators, windows etc, could be a poorly fusebox or a bad connector somewhere

Once upon a time a duff rev counter was caused by alternator brushes not sure about the rest but I would start by checking alternator and battery

I think there's a plug on the BECM that feeds it. Try a search on here and check RAVE. Got a niggly feeling someone had this before and Marty came up with the answer.
