electric windows

had my window down and pushed the rear one by mistake to put it back up got half way down then loads of grinding and it sounded like some thing snapped I have a warranty but it says window motors are covered will this cover the mechanism its off to the local stealers as soon as I can get a day off which leads me to the next question where is the nearest one to me (gateshead tyne& wear)

I would have thought it would cover the mechanism too, but you will have to ring them first.

I have no experience of this dealer, so do not endorse them in any way. It was simply the second click having done a simple google search.

well been down to the stealer's this afternoon and it is not covered on my warranty the motor is but not the regulator , £80 for the part or £142 fitted in a hour I chose the latter had a quick look and thought b@@@s to that I would never get my hands in there
