Electric heated front screen.

Mine doesn't seem to work, have I missed something or is it fooked?

What do I need to check to make sure its getting power.

Hi Hamster...

Check fuses under your seat... but prob Fooked , common problem , if you are handy with spanners, then its a whole seat of job and squab, its a fix noted in the RAVE manual. or just drive like the rest of us... cold Butts ...

where in Oldham are you.... I was born in Chadderton

Lol, believe it or not, mine does actually give you a warm arse (takes its time warming up though)
I'm on Clarksfield off Lees Road, not far from Chad.

And ye, front heated windscreen, not seat lol.

sorry dude .... just noted my fopar.. DOH... thats what happens trying to read the forum and working at the same time .. Clarksfield. yup know it.. Lees rd, bought my 1st cycle from there... Ramsbottoms I think?

Long gone, was a shop called Surosa (or something similar just after cross st) but they've moved now.

well on my classic I didnt think mine was working for a while as it doesnt really get hot to the touch , however it does de-mist that front screen well so wait for a steamy night

and check if it does the job lol

Look at rangerovers.net, I believe the connections are prone to corrode at the screen. you'll have to look at RAVE to find them tho. The fine wires in the screen also fail. Little bits of mine de-mists.
