Electric Door Mirror gone into world of its own

Hi,

A couple of weeks back i purchased a 2002 v6 freelander which so far i love.

However today when i popped out in it when i attempted the electric mirrors to close them, the passenger side closed but the drivers side just made a clicking noise, like something was slipping and not allowing it to move. So i closed it with my hand. The funny thing is when i press the button to open the mirrors they both open fine.

any ideas? as my car is being serviced in the morning and am wondering whether its worth mentioning to the garage?

depends, if the garage servicing it sold you it then get it mentioned, if not get it repaired yourself

Mine are equally temperamental (O5 TD4 HSE) and sometimes need a nudge to open or close.
