ele window fault

My RR p38 front drivers window is playing up. Its makeing a klonking noise when it goes up full and is showing a fault on the dash display.
Any ideas

you need a new window mechanism as the teeth have come of /worn out i would say my mum old p38 had same problem if showing the (window not set) msg try putting a small piece of wood at the top and sgut it up to the wood should trick it into thinking it closed all the way hth

99% sure that the regulator is knackered....common problem. About £40 new off Ebay.
