Another question for those that know.
Is it possible to try the EKA code without there being a problem with the vehicle. Or is it a case of only finding out if it works when you need it.
I've read several threads on here when that situation has happened and so I would like to try my code to see if I have a problem. If I tried to input the code would I bugger it up.
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks

If you lock the vehicle with the remote fob and then unlock with the mechanical key only ,the message centre should display Enter EKA code or press remote. If you enter the eka the vehicle should start. If the code does not work, pressing unlock on the remote should restore normal operation.

I have tested my eka and door lock microswitches using this method.:amen:
