Been reading and searching posts for overheating solutions, and keep reading about removing the EGR valve on a 200tdi.
So how do I go about this?
Are there any special parts I need to buy first to block off anything?

Yeah as far as i know the 200 hasn't got an EGR,

Have you flushed your radiator out and renewed the coolant recently, it might be blocked. causing your overheating.

Do a search on radiator, or overheating, i'm sure i'v seen a thread recently about a overheating issue.

EGR removal or not has nothing to do with the engine overheating.

In fact, the whole purpose of the EGR system is to REDUCE peak combustion temperatures, thus wrecking your MPG, reducing the power output, and polluting the atmosphere more.

But you don't have one, and mine is blanked off.

So we don't care.
