P38A Egr delete

Mine and all the other pre erg run well so why not do it saves all the crap going back it to the inlet tracked and gunning it all up, standard mod on most makes of diesels .
 
Remove EGR valve clean it out then replace it. Then leave vac pipe off it and blank loose pipe with a suitable bolt and stow. No need to fit silly replacement blanking unit. You won't gain any MPG or performance, but you won't have to clean crap out of it and the manifold again.

I used to do this for a long time but found it billowed under hard acceleration (proper smoke screen stuff). I recently cleaned it and replaced the vacuum lines and it runs cleaner.
