Disco 1 EDC auto injectors

I've manged to glean a bit more info, 300 tdi autos with edc have 1 injector (err 3337- bosch KBAL 90 P 38 with a sensor fitted to it and 3 x err 3348 - bosch KBAL 90 P36)..... now bosch in their infinite wisdom don't support these no more !!!!!!! so two questions
1) is anyone breaking a 300 tdi auto edc wagon in which I could take a punt and rehome the injectors ?
2) How difficult would it be to swap the edc pump for a mechanical fuel injection pump and fit 4 standard injectors (err 3339) I know the 3339 injectors are 2 stage and operate at 200 ats and 280 ats and the edc injectors operate at 200 ats and 300 ats I'm willing to put up with any slight power loss so long as it doesn't run like a bag of bolts... if so how do you deal with the ecu issue and No 4 injector wiring (err 3337).

it seems that you can get it here, http://www.bestpartstore.co.uk/669378 or google out Bosch 0 432 193 834 , if you want only the nozzle it's Bosch 0 433 175 060 , even if it's expensive it might be easyer and cheaper than converting it and risk to not run well
