Economy Intercooler DIY

Hello I have just got a big cooler its 800/600 I am going to reweld like yours but how do you find it when you drive it do you get much turbo lag with such a big intercooler and how much have you turned up our boost ??

whats a td5 cooler like when fitted to a 300tdi???

I havn't realy noticed too much lag and drives nice, havn't turned up boost just tuned the pump

I couldn't answer that one as don't know anyone who has done it
