Just thinking about lifting me disco for some bigger rubber, so I checked out fleabay and came across these...

Anyone shed any light on how they work? First thought was it was a body lift wrongly described, but there doesn't seem to be enough bits for that! Second thought is that it could be along the same lines as the £17 supercharger...

Any advice greatly appreciated. Certainly cheaper than springs and dampers, but i've always been taught if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

Cheers

Fooking waste of money. all it is, is a lump of box section cut up and a few holes drilled in them. If you wanted to do a lift that way you could just buy a length of box section and make your own. But it's a **** way to do it.

looks a very dodgy way to do it :| at least the other spacers sit under ALL of the spring not just a bit.

Check out the What tyre fit my disco thread, before getting a lift kit.

I run 235/85 16s on my STANDARD height disco, no cutting (Yet) to the body work.

Oh right, so he's chucking them under the springs themselves? Very dodgy...
They've been selling at ~£40+p&p, for £100 you can get a set of +2 springs - surely a better option!
