Was thinking of taking out valve block and replacing seals, after depresurise is it ok just to pull of electrical connectors .reseal and replace or will it bring on fault anywhere? {Down on all fours in mornings}
Was thinking also to replace diaphram.
Cheers

Don't know the answer to that, I work on mine in a secure garage so I always freeze the suspension by leaving the tailgate open, then the ECU does not know what I'm up to.

Got air box o ring kit and diaphram comming, was wondering if the diaphram fits in the square box bolted to the compressor which pipe goes into?

Likewise, but you can apparantly pull out the relay mounted next to the EAS ECU to achieve the same effect. Or, of course if you have the EAS unlock cable and software you can carry on regardless and just reset it afterwards.

The diaphram goes in the end block of the valve block, not the compressor itself. There are pretty good distructions with pics on the Rover Renovations site.

:behindsofa:

I had the luxury of a spare block to rebuild whilst keeping the car on the road. I stripped it and put the block parts through the dishwasher and then left them on top of boiler to bake dry before reassembling with the new seals etc. On putting the whole system back together I found that I then had a few small leaks resulting from scoring to the ends of the piping, and as they had obviously been cut back several times before, ended up replumbing with new pipes, which also solved some small leaks at the bag joints as well, as some of them were scored too.
