EAS valve block nrv's question

I was thinking, that if the rubber o rings on the nrv's make the seal and are new and OK,
then in theory, the wear on these guide cones wont really effect the seal for another 180k.

I had to take mine apart again cus it didn't work, cus I dropped two o rings in a collet instead of one, cus I was drinking thatchers vintage cider.

Just a thought.

There should be 2 O rings in the pipe collet holes.
The cones on those NRV's look very worn to me, I would not be happy with them.

Might be wrong, but that's what I seem to remember, Wammers would confirm one way or the other.

Yes all collets have two o'rings. Valve block, bags, drier everything.

While the gurus are on line, any pointers on where to buy 3 nrv's ???

A bloke on Ebay sometimes has them, Symblise i think or something like that Keith will know he gets bits from him. If i need any cones i will make them.

Had his number to hand as gona order the valve block seal kit myself and do the spare valve block as a just in case.

There are o'ring kits out there a lot cheaper if that is all you are fitting. About £8.00 i recall. Here. Range Rover P38 Air Suspension Valve Block O ring kit | eBay

Yes they are good. The red ones are crap if used on the NRVs (to soft) specially if the cones are worn and the ports are oval. You can get a box of 400 Nitrile o'rings for £12.00 so somebody is taking the **** at some of the prices being charged.

Not in France you can't and I'm happy to pay someone to sort out the correct sizes

Just measure them and get them bulk from somewhere like here. Simply Bearings Ltd ~ Oil Seals SKF FAG TIMKEN KOYO NTN NKE TRULOC Needle Rollers Taper Rollers Rod Ends Oil Filled Bushes Loose Balls O Rings Grease Plain Thrust Even on Ebay you can get 382 various nitrile o'rings for £12.95 free post. That is 3.39 pence per o'ring average. 70 O'rings needed for valve block, that is around £2.73 for the kit on that pricing. Do you see where i am coming from.

Thanks Wammers, i know wot your saying but had kits off him before for the valve block and compressor and woz happy with them, i know there good and the right sizes for the job.
