There are 3 adjustments you can make to the EAS software to get it to sync, idle time ad 2 others above. Each time you change one, re-start the software and see if it syncs. The info on RSW Solutions web site gives all the details of how to do it. It can take a few attempts so patience is needed. Took me 20 minutes to get mine to sync.

Sounds like the com port isn't set.
Do you get a warning when you start the program about the com port?
You need to set it as I mentioned in my previous post or you wilol just get gibberish back from the EAS.
Have you watched the tutorial video that I sent you the link for? It really is straightforward. Assuming the com port is set properly, it should sync in seconds. If it doesn't then something is wrong.
Does your cable go into the USB port?
If so, you need to go to device manager, look at ports and see what port number Windows has assigned to the USB-Serial adaptor.
Actually, if it is the USB one, have you installed the driver for the serial to USB adaptor? If you haven't then it won't work.

assume you downloaded and installed windows .net (dot.net) software? As others say, the instructions are on video and on files which come with the unlock software. Cable is also important as it seems some are not correct. Software when started needs to be told what com port is being used otherwise you get nothing. Mine was port 6. Check System Hardware and Com ports when the cable is connected to see which one it is.
Software actually easy enough to use but I must have a compressor fault as I couldn't get suspension to move. Compressor worked on/off on command which was cool, but not a lot else. See reply elsewhere on MARS kit - brilliant!

went over it a hundred times i no pcs i build them in spare time comm port has been check and changed to see if helps in device manager as well as changed on eas software in the drop down menu at the top, i have followed every link and video there is after being sent them all and still wont sync now the becm is away to irish rover to be unlocked as its knackered as well now so wont be doing anything till its back in bout a week and a bit
