I will ask my mechanic to look them all over, and replace fronts to start with, if rears look obviously worn ( I take it thats the case?), will do all with technique and tip provided, cheers

The fronts wear more than the rears due to the lump in the front causing more suspension movement.
Looking them over will prove nothing as they are sealed units, just check and clean all the connectors and replace the fronts if you can afford it as preventive maintenance.
