as i said rl sensor is shot, while still waiting for t new one, i decided 2 check out t old one, they truly are sealed so its possibly not worth a fix, mine was dry inside and perfectly clean so i dismantled further and found that t running strip where t 6 little fingers run had worn into it,so no repair here, all that i now could do was too try and make a front one that i had 2 to fit t rear, its now fitted and working except on extended height . but as of now its a quick fix to get me out of trouble.

I posted photo's of the inside a while back, I took a duff one a part to see if I could fabricate a replacement. It's possible but I decided not worth the effort. The price is a rip off though.

not very good on t camera and useless on t computer, i just cant do all t photo upload thing, ya data t price seems a bit of a rip off but what can we do, you have too stop fixing somewhere, especially with t eas , tell me how long should it take t pump to fill an empty tank mine takes 24 min.

If the system is completely empty, I would say that's OK, Wammers will correct me if I'm wrong:D

thanks data, have a new seal for t pump on order but if ya think that s ok i wont go any further , it may just have being just related 2 t dodgy sensor , missus just been on a 10 mile round trip and t front one s working in t back so far, by t way what heavy machinery do you run, i have read that on here somewhere is that correct,

Heavy machinery? I have a mini digger 1.5 tonne, I had a 4wd 55HP Renault tractor until last September when I sold it to pay the bills. Still got a 6 tonne tipping agricultural trailer for sale. Also got a 2003 Transit 90/330 RWD. Nothing really heavy:)

handy size and a nice tractor pity you had 2 move it, have a 12 t kato, 10 ton kobelco, 6 wheeler hino, low loader and a 96 fastrac which is for sale and hope i dont have to sell anything else to pay t bills considering i now finally own them all.

Ah, that's professional heavy stuff, I'm an amateur with earth moving, needed the kit for river maintanence at my old water mill. The really heavy work is done, I keep the Hanix digger for clearing debris out of the river, just pulled a 10 metre poplar tree out, couldn't do it without the machine:D

Without even attempting to replace Wammers in all his wisdom, but to help the OP: according to LR docs, the tank should be filled (from empty to 10 bar) in 7 minutes. Most people tend to agree that it takes a little longer and it's usually accepted anywhere between 8 to 10 minutes, for a good compressor.
24 minutes is way off, in my opinion.

cheers , i guess i better go in so wiht t new seal when it comes, theres 120 k on t clock and no leaks , but i was getting worried with t time
