Thinking about it a few years ago the car would go into the extended height mode whilst driving along-it would do this 5 or 6 times a year-it would rise even if going over 50mph-could this indicate a driver issue as well?

Driver pack, height sensor or just bad connections for which the P38 is renowned

Thanks Keith,
I'll clean the connections and start by replacing the two rear height sensors-£60 each including VAt so not bad. If this doesn't fix it I'll try the driver pack.
