eas problems

every now and again i get a eas problem and the car jacks up if i switch it off for a minute or two it will be ok again. I brought a reset cable off ebay so i could clear the faults only i don't know where to plug it in i thought it was under the passenger seat only the plug on the height sensor unit under the seat is a lot bigger than the cable i have is there any where else it should go

It's in the scuttle above the passenger footwell. Stick your head in the footwell and look up, you can't miss it !

the eas ecu plug is under the glove box m8 (on my RR 4.0 vogue)

You're ODB II diagnostic socket is is the passenger (near side) footwell, just behind the foot heater vent.
