understood grrrrawra..
she never takes that to recover, it'll empty over night!! Small pin hole in the diaphragm due a rusted penny disk..a good mod would be stainless in stead of mild steel..

Only thing diaphragm does is seal the exhaust when compressor is running. As the same gallery is used to fill tank and exhaust from bags. It CANNOT cause air to leak from tank. That would be a leaking NRV 1 or a pipe or connection to tank.

right then, that'll be on the list when the diaphragm turns up.
I had done all the o'rings previously and didn't spot anything wrong with nrv's! a heads up' on any physical give aways would be very much appreciated my good man;;)

If the location cones on the NRVs noses are worn and have worn the seating ports in the valve block slightly oval, the noses are not properly guided to set the O'rings square. In this circumstance red O'rings if fitted are too soft and can deform and leak. Use harder black Nitrile O'rings only on these. Air goes from the compressor past the sealed diaphragm valve, along the gallery out of the 8 mm pipe to the drier, then back into the valve block via the 8 mm return pipe from the drier. It then goes past NRV 1 to the 6 mm supply pipe to the tank. So only things that can cause air loss from the tank when system is switched off are a leaky NRV 1, a leak from the O'ring sealing the NRV 1 on the NRV block to the valve block, the tank feed pipe connection on the valve block. The pipe itself, the connection to the tank or a leak past the inlet valve, but that air would also have to leak past the exhaust valve, so can be reasonably discounted as a cause.

jesus, its mooching time again! thanks wammers. ive noted this down and will check everything you've listed.
such a very nice man, a very very nice man.

how did you get on? Did you get a chance to try?
had a quick play again tonight still no joy, doesn't seem to want to work unless engine is running, think iv got an elecy problem as locks are going up down like a whores draws !! dash says bonnet open when closed , temp gauge not working ,immobilizer keeps coming on . but its a p38 !! more garage time when my son gets his rally car out, not gonna give up invested too much over last couple of years
