Anyone know where it is,eas is stuck in off road height and wont drop, ive even tried depressurising the system and nowts appening.i tested as per rsw and i think its the pressure switch, problem is i cannot find it to replace it.

cheers

Unlikely to be the pressure switch I would have thought if it won't come down. Check the exhaust filter is not blocked as a first step. If the air can't get out it won't come down. Otherwise it's the valve block or driver.

i only thought it was that because there is no continuity in the switch when i checked it with the multi meter, wouldnt the switch have to be operable to depressurise the system.

The pressure switch turns the compressor on and off. If it has 150 psi in the tank there will be no continuity until it drops to around 80 psi.

yep, that's one way! goggles and gloves at the very least man. better to use the six-wire pigtail; more info on rangerovers.net

well, still not drained all the air out,
but i do now know theres nothing wrong with the air bags, its been sat on highest setting 3 days nows and not moved at all.

That does not mean the bags are good, they leak where they fold under at the bottom and the leaks open and close as they move, on full height they may well seal:(

Three distinct areas to EAS. Compressor side. Compressor fills tank controlled by pressure switch. Pressure side. Valves open to feed air into bags as required from selection switch and signals from sensors. Exhaust side. Valves open to let pressure out of bags as required by selection switch and signals from sensors. So you can let air out of tank by pulling pipe but you cannot let air out of bags unless you pull each pipe feeding them. Unless you use EASunlock which releases all air through normal exhaust circuit.

got fed up with it so took it into main stealers (yes i took a large jar of vaseline).
fitter came out, looked about 12 years old, pluged in the diagnostics,
not showing any faults.bit of teeth sucking he then wandered off into workshop and came back with an air line and proceeded to remove exhaust filter and stick the air line into valve block and gave it full pressure.
Guess what suspension dropped to bump stops,he started car and it rose up like a good un,whats that all about??.
according to the 12 year old its a common fix for a common problem just recommended that i change the diaphram.
Another shocker,no charge.
i am defo doing the lottery this week while my lucks in.
