Hi everyone,

Been a while since I posted here.
I've just bought a 2001 Vogue in pretty much perfect nick, service up to date, Air bags and compressor replaced about 20k ago.

When taking off this morning all was fine, went down to motorway height no problem. Coming off the motorway I noticed it didn't go back up again. Parked it up to go shopping and at return it still wouldn't rise. Dropped it down to access mode thinking it might rise from there....wrong! Now it's stuck there. It never dropped while sitting. Checked the compressor and it doesn't seem to run. No error messages just the light blinking.

Any ideas?

Nanocom, easunlock, bridge relay etc all bypass the thermal switch so testing it directly is a must!

Grounded the orange wire and the pump jumped into life again. When ground from orange wire removed and reapplied it takes about 5 minutes for the compressor to kick in again. This is normal?

Pump should run as soon as wire makes contact if you're running it direct. Sounds like thermal switch on its way out. Cheap as chips and not difficult if you have a soldering iron.

Why was it getting so hot? Might be worth doing a leak check and maybe refurb the pump cylinder while you're about it.
