mine seams to go up and down ok but now and then you hear eas making noises when driving
maybe a split hose!
good luck tho

Ok my 2nd hand driver pack has arrived but it has what looks like a pressure sensor attached. Do I need to de-pressurise the system before I start swapping over?

Cheers

You will have to depressurise the system anyway to remove the valve block to change the driver pack. You don't need to change the switch if you don't want to. Just remove switch pins from plug and plug yours in. You would have to remove inner cover from plug to get at pin releases.

datatek, would a leak not show over night? as I get no movement overnight.
I have your sw and cable originally the rear passenger side height sensor was throwing up errors but I have changed this and now no codes. I would of thought a dodgy sensor would show up on the sw?

Cheers

Unfortunately not always. If you have heard the noise a dodgy volume control can make on a radio, a height sensor can do the same, this can confuse the EAS but show nothing when you read the faults. Have you checked and cleaned all the height sensor connectors?

ok I have cleaned all height sensors but no difference, then today EAS FAULT 35mph came on and the car wen like a dragster. Front down on bump stops and rear at highest settings. Checked with the software and have a No5 Exhaust Valve Stuck Closed, does this mean a new valve block? or is there a different fix.

One day I will get to the bottom of my EAS nightmare

Cheers

One would wonder how the front dropped with exhaust valve stuck closed.

It is confusing i have now attached a picture, its really starting to frustrate me and maybe the big hammer needs to come out.....

Ok just to add abit more to it. I took off the exhaust silencer on the side of the EAS valve block and tried all heights and it moved between the heights quickly with the obvious sound of air escaping. I tried to blow through the silencer but it seemed blocked so i tapped it on the slam panel and white particles came out and quite a few of them. I also noticed the pump was reaching pressure then the exhaust would open to release some pressure and the pump would start again which doesn't seem right to me. I have now put the silencer back in and to drop from full height to loading height took just over 3 minutes but i don't know if this is normal or slow?

Replace the exhaust filter, it's blocked, also replace the air dryer as that is where the white particles are coming from, the dessicant is breaking up.
You may get away with it but you really need to dismantle the valve block and clean it then fit new O rings as the white ****e is likely to be everywhere.

Thanks Datatek, my job for this week. Just out of interest how long should it take to move between different height settings?

well I have removed the exhaust and run the car for a few days and the suspension is working as i'd expect. it hasn't once tried to move to wading height so it was definitely what you said datatek. So I have ordered a new valve block of kurt on here with filters and I've also ordered the drier so will all be replaced the week after next. I will provide what will hopefully be the final update on this saga when all has been fitted.

Cheers

A new valve block? All you need is a few O rings and a couple of hours.
