have a look at this and tell me if you know what to do next??

Seen as you've disconnected the EAS wiring for the coils side of it (restrictor in other words), have you been under it to see if it actually has height sensors.Because if there still there the EAS software should still give you the heights and that could be why your getting a incorrect signal

yeah i was wondering that, i am getting height readings on the software. i was wondering if the eas is getting confused as the height settings are getting one reading and the valve block etc is registering something different.

I really dont want to whip out all the coils and stick in the bags and not have any eas working!!

If the height readings are within the normal ranges,i.e low, motorway, standard or high and the dash switch light is permanent on that height setting. Try either lowering or highering on dash and watch the real time data on the EAS software and see if the valves open or close on the valve block to compensate for the height your requesting.
If they do its a good indication that its working before you remove coils.

It's probably now registering a fault because the by-pass wiring has been removed that was fitted to compensate for the coils. Try clearing faults with your software, turn it on and see if it goes into fault again,if not try real time data route,if fault reoccurs when started clear again and see how it goes.Realistically if valve block is know to be ok and all the airlines are there, along with EAS drivers, height sensors, air tank, compressor and all related components, fitting air bags back on and it should be back to the way it was intended to be.

If the EAS ECU is calling for the car to go to a particular height and the sensors register no change, it is going to go to a fault condition, that's what it is supposed to do.

The valve block does not register anything. The only thing on the valve block that singals anything is the air pressure sensor. That tells the ECU to start or stop the compressor as required. Compressor operation is independent of driver pack and valve block other than that. The ECU reads sensors and instructs driver pack to pulse corner valves together with inlet or outlet to let air in or out as required.

Is the compressor running?
Is there a sound of air being released from the pipes?
Obviously there will be those faults because if there are no airbags after a certain time, when a sensor has not moved the ECU will go to fault mode. There MUST be movement either up or down signalled by the sensors with a few seconds or you will get a fault mode.
