I’ll do both, arthritis and white finger means I can’t do anything remotely ‘fiddely’ and replacing the various O rings definitely comes into that category
Though I’m surprised I’m having this particular problem, its only got 68K genuine miles on and according to the crack I shouldn’t be getting this problem until 100k+?
Airbags have a design life of 80K miles or 7 to 8 years, when the bags start to leak, the pump quickly self destructs and the valve block also suffers from overwork trying to keep the car level. I have no idea where you got the 100K mile figure from.

its me again!
if I drop to access, foot on brake to inhibit, then select wade height and remove foot, bags inflate nice and quickly but front left in particular seems to go in fits and starts, like the second hand on a watch.
would this be knackered/seized bushes in the radius arm? is there any way to check them without taking it off? or likely something else? i think the shock is ok

Unless the FL valve is sticking?
See if you can swap the FL and FR air pipes over coming out of the block and see if the behavior pattern moves to the other side. ;)
Deflated of course... I know you know;)

What can the radius arm bushes do to stop the car lifting, it pivots on the rear ones the fronts have no influence.. Make sure the link from radius arm to sensor is free to move and is not tight on it's pivot., bit of rubber lube works wonders.
