My P38 failed it's MOT yesterday as the lights were aimed high:confused: Strange I thought as it's the suspension that provides the leveling. Looking at the car it was obviously running nose up and I hadn't noticed. Got it home and put it on the computer to find that all the EAS settings were scrambled.

We had a huge storm a few days ago with a strike very close by which took out the electricity for miles around, I'm thinking that the electrostatic discharge must be the cause of the EAS losing the plot, it screwed my PC as well.

I was able to recalibrate with no problem which brought the headlights down to earth. I will have to wait and see if it goes wrong again:(

Always something new with a P38:eek:

in theory its possible. I have one of them voltage detector pens that I have to use at work, and if it near mobile when it rings it glows. Or it i put it on my bedside table it lights up if too close to my touch lamp. If it was that a p38 driven through a thunder storm could have all kinds of problems
