I've read a few and I think maybe height sensor issue but would like your advice.
Drove somewhere yesterday, all fine. Then again today for 6 miles or so, all fine. Then I didn't look at suspension but noticed that about 5/6 more miles the suspension was on wade mode and normal level was flashing. Wouldn't set. Turned off and on and still nothing. Suspension on high I thought I'd Coast it home. Half way it came up with eas fault with lights flashing. By the time I was home the front was down and the rear right up. Since then I've lowered the suspension, still showing fault. Checked all relevant fuses, all fine. What's the problem?? I have no diagnostics.

You need diagnostics. This could be corrosion in the white connectors at the foot of the A post behind the trim, the driver pack, connectors in the EAS box or many other things.
If you have a windows lap top the EAS diagnostics can be downloaded free, then you just need the cable (which I can supply) and maybe a USB to serial adaptor.
There is nothing you can do without diagnostics.

That's what I thought. I have a local dealer I use. Can they run the diagnostics?

it would be easier to buy one of Datateks leads and software. It will save you a lot of time and money.
Private message him and he will sort you out ( with a kit that is) ;)
Worth every penny if you have a p38 :)

Data is your man with the cable you need & between him & wammers I sorted my eas eairler in the year I'm a novice at this but I do know I've you take it to a local dealer they will charge you a fortune and probley not even do the work on a old p38

Could you possibly email me, [email protected]. Thanks.

Could be a few things. As above you need the diag. Also, while you are waiting, read through Wammers How To in the Technical Section.

Connectors behind a-post might cause rise to wade height. Failure to get there with fronts down and rear in the air sounds like knackered compressor from feeding a leak. Testing compressor in How To. For leaks I put on wading height, pull the delay timer under the passenger seat then walk away and see what drops in the following days.
