hi there
is there anyone there have the approx height setup for the gen II air springs ???
is there anyone there have the approx height setup for the gen II air springs ???
gen 2 arrnots are same height as oem dunlop, but arrnots have better handling.
Gen 3 will go higher, but need eas programmed to do it.
my view was gen 2 better handling when had my p38 and unless you needed extra height then gen 3 waste of money
i have the gen II on . but cant seem to get it to stand striate so i nee the numbers on an oem so i can starte all over ..
i hav bought the without an eas ecu an then i have got a jousted one and i am not sour what it have bin on
so need the oem upset
Roughly translated:- could someone give me standard trim height for range rover p38 please.
If it is sitting uneven and everything is fitted correctly then it sounds like a ride height sensor issue.
From a post by irishrover and what i set mine too...........
The heights should be.....measured from the wheel CENTRE to the wheel arch;
Standard height 790mm +/- 7mm
High 830mm +/- 7mm
Access 730mm +/- 7mm
Low Profile* 770mm +/- 7mm
Extended* 850mm +17/-7mm
i only have 4
is that fore a p38
The Standard height setting is 470mm +/- 7mm from CENTRE of hub to wheel arch which equates to approx. 810mm from FLOOR to wheel arch on level ground with standard 18" tyres with up to 3mm of wear and tyre pressure set to 29psi Front and 39psi rear. As a guide the ECU readings for the sensors should be around 120 bits for the front and 100bits for the rear. These figures are approximate as there are discrepancies in the actual readings from the sensors...they are not precision components.

 I was not at my best when I posted that:beer2::beer2::beer2:!!!!
To atone for past mistakes and cut down on the number of P38 Monster Trucks with air springs like over inflated condoms, here are the correct figures based on 18" standard wheels with up to 3mm wear, inflated to 29psi front/39psi rear on LEVEL firm ground *** these figures apply only to GROUND to wheelarch measurements.
The measurements from HUB centre to Wheelarch are the same, irregardless of the wheel size fitted.
Standard....... Hub-Arch 470mm+/- 7mm
Standard........Floor-Arch 18" wheels 810mm+/-7mm
Standard........Approximate Bit Value 120 front/100 rear
High..............Hub-Arch 510mm+/-7mm
High..............Floor-Arch 18" wheels 850mm+/-7mm
High..............Approximate Bit Value 145 front/130 rear
Access..........Hub-Arch 405mm+/-7mm
Access..........Floor-Arch 18" wheels 745mm+/-7mm
Access..........Approximate Bit Count 80 front/75 rear
Low Access (Motorway)..Hub-Arch 445mm+/-7mm ***this is controlled by the EAS ECU and cannot be changed. The ECU calculates this automatically.
Extended.....Hub-Arch 540mm+/-7mm*** again, calculated and controlled by the ECU.
Hope this helps.
Print it off you guys if you want, I don't fancy typing it again !!:violin::hysterically_laughi
