Gents,

The rangy is home for a bit so time to sort the sluggish EAS. It works fine but takes a while to get going in the morning and then if you go to the top and down again, it can take a good few minutes to get back to normal height again. I think the output from the compressor is not up to much.
Now, the main question is, which kit to buy, There seem to be hundreds of options out there.
Found this one on fleabay. What do you think? looks reasonable to me??

Also, should I do the air dryer too??

If anyone has a known good supplier, I'd be happy to pay a bit more to know I'm getting the right kit at the right quality!!

Thanks again guys.

It sounds like you have an air leak somewhere if nit goes down. check the suspension bags before you get a kit as it will only burn out the piston ring if it runs too much

Airbags are not leaking as it stays up overnight. It is possible there's an air leak between compressor and reservoir and that's why it takes so long to get up to pressure.
I actually think that this is the case, otherwise, if it was at pressure the day before and suspension hasn't moved, it shouldn't run for long.
However, I'm still convinced that the compressor isn't great.
I'll be doing it all at one go, hence wanting to have a good refurbishment kit. Once compressor and valve block are done, I'll be checking for any leaks.
It does need some new bags as there is signs of cracking on a couple and the bloke I bought it off said he'd replaced 3 of the bags and 4th was in the boot. It's a britpart one so I want to replace all 4 with decent ones.
Also, one rear shock has been replaced so I want to replace all 4 shocks. Any recommendations for shocks?

I would suggest Boge (OEM) shock absorbers as the terrafirma one are very firm and give a harsh ride ubless you use it a lot on gravel roads as when they get hot the ride gets more acceptable. if you want to spend a lot of money there are aftermarket ones out there like Koni and Bilsteinbut I dont know what the ride is like with them.

Never thought to look on island for the eas bits. Shame really, I've just ordered tailgate straps and MAF from them today. Grrrrrrrrr

I got all my kit from Island and were very good
Definitely do air dryer too as if it goes to bits then it will let gunge and stuff into your pump and that dies shortly thereafter.

Nothing can get into compressor from air drier. Valve block yes compressor no.

Thanks guys. I'll order the bits from Island then.
I've got a pile of service bits (plugs, leads, oils, filters etc) and a MAF to fit tomorrow if they arrive on time and it stays dry. I will let you know if it fixes the problem with it not wanting to rev properly.
