Popped out yesterday to test the brakes following a second brake bleeding adventure and thought I'd capture some EAS data at the same time. 30 minute trip with variety of heights and speeds.

I thought my pump was running more than this. Haven't paid it much attention recently but maybe a comparison to an L.E.D. might be worthwhile after all.

Wouldn't allow me to upload the spreadsheet with charts so had to save the charts as jpg, strip them out and then zip the spreadsheet. Sorry about the colours but Windows 8 has been fighting me the whole way through. What a seriously duff offering that has been, worth of the name Micro$hite.

Some odd points. Sometimes all valves are shut apart from the inlet one and the compressor isn't running. What does that achieve?

inlet valve opens to vent pressure in the pump to block line so the pump never has to start against a back pressure... this is the little hiss you hear when the pump shuts off...the inlet valve opens and closes momentarily to exhaust the pressure!

Hi GRRRR, for the time it takes to fit the LED i think its a worthwhile MOD, like you i have had many EAS issues and was also paranoid about it but now i can visually see what pump is doing i am over my paranoia. I was constantly lifting bonnet to check pump but now i do not need to. Hope this helps to clear your mind of the EAS devil talking in your head.:)

Why concern your self with the intricacies of the valve block internals?
Generally the valve block either works or it doesn't, as long as it's working it can safely be ignored.
