I have recently completely renovated a late series 3 and enjoyed it so much I bought a 1973 series 3 petrol to do it again. This one has been messed about with a lot over the years and I’m looking for a correct engine bay picture showing how it should be laid out, particularly the brake layout without servo and carb/ air filter. The 83 late one was completely original so was no problem. Thanks in anticipation.

Welcome to LZ!

Tech questions are best posted in the Series section.
But as you are here, I can suggest the good underbonnet pictures in the Haynes manual, or the drawings in the genuine manual.

I have owned it for about 15 years, it was low mileage but the mot ran out and left outside it deteriorated. Decided to rebuild it under lockdown with a new chassis and bulkhead.
