Dying when foot taken off gas

Hi all, hope someone can tell me this is an easy fix!!

On way to customer this aft and series 3 started juddering, getting worse the further I went. Thought it was the air filter hose on top of carb as it does come loose from time to time. Stopped to have a look and as soon as I took foot of acselerator she died. Hose was off slightly so popped back on and tried again. Same thing happened. Very juddery, and if take foot off gas she dies. Managed to get her to a relations drive but just! Until today there has not been a problem.

Sounds as though you need your carb cleaning out.

Simple enough to take the top off, clean out the float chamber and make sure that your jets aren't blocked.

If it continues, come back to us.

Cleaned carb and jets with compressed air and now working a treat. Cheers

Do you blow the jets in carb or remove them?
